John's Closet is a non-profit program established in 1988 by Lou and Irene Papan in memory of their son John, a great kid who suffered from a rare illness.

John's Closet helps provide new clothes to kids in need who attend local San Mateo County elementary or high schools.

Who We Serve
We serve children ages 4-18 in the cities of Brisbane, Daly City, South San Francisco, Pacifica, Colma, San Bruno, and Millbrae.
How to get help
We believe in giving the best possible future to children in our community.
John's Closet operates on an appointment-only basis in at the beginning of each fall school year, in schools throughout San Mateo County.
Referrals are required. Once a referral has been obtained, please fill out our intake form below.
